Don Rett was recently appointed to the Special Committee on Florida's Securities and Investor Protection Act. Appointed by the Chair of the Florida Bar Business Law Section, Mr. Rett is one of 10 voting members to this special committee. The Committee's assignment is to study the Florida Securities Act (Chapter 517) and report proposed changes to the Executive Council.

"AV" rated by Martindale Hubbell, Mr. Rett is the only member of the Florida Bar to serve as both a Securities and Exchange Commission "SEC" attorney and the Director of the Florida Division of Securities. Since 1978, Mr. Rett has assisted clients in many areas of securities law, co-counseled with other law firms and has acted as an expert witness and securities law consultant.
